TURÍ SIMETI

November 8th 2011 - January 28th 2012

On Monday the 7th of November 2011 a new solo exhibition of Turi Simeti will be inaugurated at the gallery space of Gallerja in Rome, Via della Lupa 24.
It has been one year since the retrospective which took place between the ancient walls of the former Jesuitic college in Alcamo, the artist's home town.
The exhibition now presented in Rome leads to a further analysis of Simeti's production, allowing us to develop new considerations.
Among the art works displayed for this occasion, aproximately twenty pieces, and almost all dating from the years of his latest production, we may also admire some of Timeti's earlier works, such as the large White Oval from 1973.
